ALCO-POP

SCENE 1. EXT. A CITY STREET. [16:00]

A TRAMP (ALCO-POP) IS BEGGING IN THE STREET. HE IS STRUMMING A CARDBOARD GUITAR.

ALCO-POP:
Got any spare change for a cup of tea. No? god bless you then.

ALCO STICKS TWO FINGERS UP AT THE PASSERS-BY. TWO YOUNG LADS WALK PAST DRINKING BEER FROM A CAN AND MOVE AROUND THE CORNER. THEY STOP OUT OF VIEW OF ALCO AND ONE OF THEM URINATES IN THE EMPTY BEER CAN. THEY RETURN TO ALCO AND GIVE HIM THE CAN.

ALCO-POP:
Ahh…God bless you lads.

ALCO-POP TAKES A BIG SWIG FROM THE CAN, AS THE TWO LADS WALK OFF SLOWLY LAUGHING. SUDDENLY, ALCO-POP SPURTS OUT ALL THE DRINK

ALCO-POP:
Oy…ye filth bastards! This isn’t lager…its cider…I hate cider!

ALCO-POP THROWS THAT CAN AWAY IN DISGUST

ALCO-POP:
And its warm…
